Glad to see your wrote an entire article on the method.. I have been doing it ever since my first 5th Wheel and now on my Motor Home..
I use one cup liquid Calgon and one cup of original Tide Laundry Detergent in 5 gallons of water for each tank… During the off season when I winterize, I put 5 gallons of the mixure in each tank and have had no problems during feezing weather..
I recommend your method to everyone that owns an RV.
